Little Neal at christmas

It's me, Little Neal, snuggled up for christmas.

Errol Flynn

This is Flynn.  He's moved into our house.  He doesn't get what's going on with the water and the drain.  I've told him over and over, but he's just amazed.  This is what I'm trying to deal with: a hillbilly cat.  It's me, Little Neal.

Neal and Errol Flynn

It's me, Little Neal.  Mom's adopted a stray.  I said it was like being the most popular kid in high school and having Errol Flynn move into your neighborhood.  So she NAMED HIM ERROL FLYNN.

I hate him.

We Miss Robert

We lost our sweet, lovely feral boy, Robert over christmas.  We miss him every day.  Thanks to everybody who followed his story.

Day 5: Mr. Robert

it's me, Little Neal.  This is Mr. Robert Waddles the Feral.  He's our outdoor friend.  He eats my food, but that's OK, I guess.  This is day 5 of him staying outside with us.  Mom says that's good.  It turned cold, though and Mom's going to get him a house.  His own house.  I guess that's alright, I guess.  I have our whole house.  At least the second floor.  I don't let Camille (the crazy bitch cat I share the house with) upstairs.

Mr. Peep: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from our deer sweet Mr. Peep.  When he was alive, he was the Christmas Kitty every year.  We miss you Peep.

Lucy at the Humane Society

This is what poor little Lucy looked like shortly after she arrived at the Humane Society, left there because the family dog jumped on her.  She was cowering in the back of her cage, trembling and largely unresponsive.

This is what she looked like only a couple of days later, after workers at the Humane Society had petted and reassured her.

By petting her and talking to her and loving on her, we finally got her to pee.  I think she was just so traumatized, she didn't feel safe enough before.

Beautiful, brave little kitty

This is sweet, sweet Lucy.

She was attacked by her owner's new dog and afterwards stayed under the sofa for a week.  Instead of taking care of her, the family surrendered her to the Humane Society.  When I saw her Wednesday, she was traumatized.  Today, she's better after being loved on by many people.  But, she needs a great, loving home.  She hadn't urinated since Wednesday (and possibly for a week while she was under the sofa).  She finally urinated today after being stroked and talked to and loved and encouraged.

Sweet Boy Amos

Sweet little Amos still needs a home.  Here he is lounging in my lap after playing.  He loves to cuddle.  Go check him out at the Humane Society of south coastal Georgia.
