Netflix and Rebecca

If you have the version of Netflix that allows you to order a DVD, order the Rebecca. The version netflix sends out has a fascinating version of the film that includes a running narrative detailing stories from the production of the film and analysis of the film techniques used.
You can watch the film without interruption, but you can also watch the version with a running commentary by a film expert.
The narration includes so many things I never noticed about the film and includes stories I never heard or read about. It's a treasure.
Also, there are other versions of Rebecca. I have no doubt that they are worse, much worse than the Hitchcock version, but these other versions are so helpful in bringing out just why classic films are so good.
I haven't watched any of the Rebecca remakes, but would love to hear any comments from people who have.
