This sweet, smart little boy was (we think) hit by a car and has lost the use of his hind leg. When we gets healthy enough, the vet is going to have to remove one of his legs.
He's not a feral cat, that's obvious by the way he reacts to humans. He is very friendly and affectionate. He had to have had a home. So, he's at the Humane Society of Coastal Georgia, hurt and abandoned, but like all wild beings, he's not feeling sorry for himself.
.He just putters around, dragging his useless leg, trying to make the best of things.
The Humane Society has to use money out of a special fund to pay for the amputation. He also needs a caring foster home to recover from the surgery, and then a permanent home where he can love and be loved.
Think about volunteering at the Humane Society, contributing to the fund for cats with "special needs" and if you can find a place for this bold little guy, please talk to the professionals at the Humane Society. I promise you, he will give you more than you could ever give him.
