She was attacked by her owner's new dog and afterwards stayed under the sofa for a week. Instead of taking care of her, the family surrendered her to the Humane Society. When I saw her Wednesday, she was traumatized. Today, she's better after being loved on by many people. But, she needs a great, loving home. She hadn't urinated since Wednesday (and possibly for a week while she was under the sofa). She finally urinated today after being stroked and talked to and loved and encouraged. She has a bladder infection. Even with all she's been through, she is loving and affectionate. The imbeciles de-clawed her front feet, so she needs an inside home. What kind of people behave like this? They had had Lucy since she was a kitten. If you know someone who can give this great little soul a good and safe home, please contact the Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia, or email me.
I'm glad I don't know who brought her in. I volunteer at the Humane Society, but if I worked there, I would have to slap someone.
