This is "Buttercup" who I am renaming "Willis." I am a "cat socializer" at the Humane Society and I work with unsocialized cats. "Buttercup" has been at the Humane Society for three weeks and doesn't want much to do with anybody. I worked for half an hour just to get him to accept my hand in his enclosure without hissing and whopping. But, he doesn't bite and he doesn't use his claws when he whops you. After half an hour of talking to him and letting him get used to my hand, he finally laid down and let me pet him. He loved it, but when he got up again, we started from square one, with him hissing and whopping.
He needs a loving and understanding and PATIENT home. He'll make somebody a grateful kitty when he's calmed down a little. His fur is champagne colored and is so soft and dense.
Got some patience? Want to give a character a good home? Give this boy a chance.
